Conforms to I S : 1199 & 10510 This method is a mechanised version of the simple slump test. The instrument comprises of a slump cone with a hopper, specimen container, a transparent plastic plate attached to a graduated rod, mounted on a vibrating table and a tamping rod 16 mm. diameter x 600  mm.  long.  The  vibrating  table  has  a  fixed  amplitude  and frequency of vibration, imparted by a motor drive mechanism.  The table rests on four rubber absorbers. Wired for 230V., sph. 50 Hz.
