The HERON LITE is a handheld, fast and professional 3D mapping system. It is the world-leading solution for the fast 3D surveying and mapping of buildings and small infrastructures where automatic self-localization and real time change detection features are not required. As a product, the HERON LITE has been realized to satisfy the needs of fast local real time mapping thanks to Gexcel’s patented 360⁰ surround view to capture rea-time 3D LiDAR data that includes distances and calibrated reflectivity measurements. The easy to use interface and its extreme lightweight make the HERON LITE the perfect too for daily 3D fast mapping on the field. The HERON LITE is composed of a Velodyne Puck LITE sensor and an easy to carry rugged control unit and is fully compatible with Reconstructor® software to manage point clouds and images coming from different LiDAR and imaging platforms.
