Hand wheels are provided in the electrical versions too, for operation during power failure. The machines are primarily intended for triaxial test on samples upto 100 mm. diameter, but can be fitted with relevant accessories for Unconfined and CBR tests as well. Each loading frame is fully overloaded and tested so that it can operate at full speed under full load conditions.
