The PENTAX GX2-A Positioning Systems Series is a portable, multifunctional GNSS receiver designed for high precision surveying. It features a high precision multi frequency GNSS engine supporting GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and other positioning satellite systems.

The GX2 combines advanced positioning technology with IMU based tilt compensation, Bluetooth, WiFi, 2G/3G/4G connectivity, built in data transmission radio and a dual hot swap battery system, making it suitable for demanding surveying applications.

Key Features

Multi Frequency GNSS Engine

The GX2 is equipped with a 1408 channel multi frequency GNSS engine supporting GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou and QZSS, along with SBAS, NavIC and PPP support.

Up to ±60° Tilt Compensation

The built in IMU provides automatic tilt compensation of up to ±60°, reducing the need to keep the receiver perfectly vertical during measurement and improving flexibility on uneven or challenging terrain.

IP68 Waterproof and Dustproof

The receiver features a robust magnesium alloy housing with IP68 waterproof and dustproof protection, designed for operation in demanding outdoor environments.

Large LED Display

A large colour LED display provides clear visibility of the receiver’s operating status and real time information.

Dual Hot Swap Battery System

The GX2 uses a dual lithium battery system that supports hot swapping, allowing batteries to be replaced without shutting down the receiver.

The system provides approximately 20 hours of operation with two batteries.

Rover and Base Station Support

The built in EX and RX data transmission radio allows the GX2 to function as both a Rover and Base station.
